Herzog & de Meuron by Thomas Ruff and Andreas Gursky

Working with artists has always been an integral part of Herzog & de Meuron’s practice. In 1991 they invited artists to photograph their buildings to exhibit at the Venice Architecture Biennale. These are part of an evolving group of works reflecting on a conceptual understanding of architecture and photography.
